Overall Marketing Plan: We will work with you to develop an overall marketing plan for your title. We will research competitive titles, target audience, possible endorsement opportunities, e-marketing, library marketing plan, special sales opportunities, etc.
Endorsements: We discuss and decide on 6-8 potential endorsement opportunities. We will write the initial letter requesting an endorsement, or book review, and follow-up via email, phone, or mail.
E-Mail News Release: A press release is prepared offering the media a story idea along with an offer for a review copy. The release is sent to approximately 200-300 targeted media contacts. We provide you with a report for fulfillment and follow-up.
Discussion Group Posting: A message is written, introducing your title, offering a sample chapter. The message is posted to 20-25 targeted online discussion groups. A report is provided that includes discussion group name and link so you can verify the message has been posted and review group response.
Sample Chapter Giveaway: We select an excerpt from your book and offer it to relevant sites to make available to their visitors. Excerpts pique readers interest and are an effective way to increase sales.
Blog Outreach: We write and post a message about your title, or website, to the top 10-15 blogs relevant to your title. We follow up for two days to address any comments, questions, or feedback. A review copy is offered to the blogmaster. If any requests for review copies are received they will be passed on to you for fulfillment and follow-up.
Library E-Marketing: An HTML email is prepared and sent to over 400 libraries who have opted-in to receive information from RES Marketing Alliance. We will announce your book, offer an excerpt, or an advanced review copy. You receive a report with open rate and click through statistics. All requests for review copies will be forwarded to you for fulfillment.
Market Research and Analysis: We will research competitive titles, provide you with point-of-sales information and potential target markets.
Press Releases & Supplements: We will develop a story line for the media and write a properly formatted press release along with supplements (about the author, tips sheet, etc).
Trade Reviewers: We will contact appropriate trade reviewers and send them advanced reading galleys for review. Media Lists: Using directories and media databases we can build targeted media lists for your press release mailing.
